A new sports-anchored entertainment district is coming to downtown Oklahoma City, led by Echo Investment Capital, Russell Westbrook Enterprises, and Robinson Park. Centered around the MAPS 4 Multipurpose Stadium, the $2 billion project will transform a 50-acre site near the Oklahoma River into a walkable hub for sports, retail, dining, and community events.⁠ ⁠ Echo selected global design firm Populous as master architect. Known for major projects like Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and Kai Tak Sports Park, Populous is also designing the MAPS 4 Multipurpose Stadium and will help shape the entire district.⁠ ⁠ Russell Westbrook, former Oklahoma City Thunder star, founder of RWE, and fashion icon is serving as Creative Director. He’s bringing his global perspective and strong ties to OKC to help build a space that reflects the city’s energy, culture, and community.⁠
